Safeguarding For Parents

Wilbraham Primary School is passionate about and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  We expect all staff and visitors to share this commitment.  We are fully committed to ensuring that consistent effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, children and staff at school.  All concerns are passed to trained Designated Child Protection Officers in school in compliance with the sharing of information guidance.

The Senior Designated Officer for Child Protection is Sarah Ikin. She is supported by the Deputy Designated Officer for Child Protection, Carrie Godwin, and our Other Deputy Designated Officer is Ann-Marie Nelson, as well as the Nominated Governor for Safeguarding and Child Protection, Nazia Yusuf. Our Designated Officer for Child Protection for the Aspire Trust is Lynn Treadway who can be contacted via email at ltreadway@aet.cheshire.sch.uk

Michelle Copenhall is the Safeguarding Trustee Governor.

If you have any serious concerns about your child or any other pupil at Wilbraham Primary School, please do not hesitate to contact one of our Designated Officers in school who will know who to contact for the best advice and help and are experienced in using the appropriate degree of confidentiality. You can find our contact details via our Contact Us page or alternatively you can send our Designated Officers an email at  welfare@wilbrahamprimary.com

During the school holidays you can email welfare@wilbrahamprimary.com and one of our Designated Safeguarding Officers will respond to your enquiry.
