PSHE
Our PSHE curriculum is informed by our school ethos and reflects our school population and context. Many of the skills and knowledge taught are the foundation of the school curriculum and are transferable to other subjects. Children’s learning will give them skills and knowledge necessary for the future.
As a result of our PSHE programme, pupils will be able to express and manage their feelings and emotions and share their opinions with others. They will learn to respect other people’s differences and develop the skills to form healthy relationships. Pupils will know the importance of living a healthy life and will be equipped with ways to protect their own physical and mental health and the health of others. They will also be taught ways to keep themselves and others safe. Children will understand their rights and responsibilities now and in their future lives.
Our pupils also do work from Manchester Healthy Schools www.manchesterhealthyschools.nhs.uk
