RE statement of intent:?

At Wilbraham we want our children to know about and understand a range of religions and worldviews. Our aim is that all children are able to describe, explain and analyse beliefs and practices, recognising the diversity which exists within and between communities and amongst individuals. We take great pride in celebrating the similarities and differences of the children and staff at our school. This is something that is also reinforced through the teaching of RE. We follow the Manchester agreed syllabus and teach RE, as well as other subjects alongside British values. We want our children to learn from each other by sharing their beliefs and practices in an environment which promotes respect, integrity and harmony.
