As we move further into autumn, the weather is getting colder and the trees are starting to change colour. Their leaves are turning from green to red, orange, yellow and brown and are starting to fall to the ground. Acorns and horse chestnuts can be found on the ground with the leaves and squirrels can be seen collecting them ready for winter. Lots of fruit and nuts are collected from the trees at this time of year, like red apples and purple plums. Vegetables like potatoes and carrots are also gathered up on farms. For Music/Art today, we are going to listen to a piece of music called "Autumn", it is part of a work called a symphony, which was written by the composer Antonio Vivaldi. The symphony is called, "The Four Seasons" and was written nearly 300 years ago in 1723. As you listen to the music, I would like you to draw a picture of autumn. Think about the weather and the trees and the colours of autumn. You can get ideas by looking at the autumn pictures on the music video. I look forward to seeing your art work.
