On Wednesday, a group of 11 children traveled to Platt Lane to take part in a festival of activities. There were lots of other schools competing in a number of different activities, including; football skills, balance, running, throwing, skipping and many more.
The children worked incredibly hard and really enjoyed themselves. At the end of the event, we were given the award of the most determined school! Fantastic work guys!

Mr Wheeldon and Miss Gibson took a group of year 3&4 children to represent school in a Kurling competition. This was not an activity that the team had much experience of, but they were determined to give it their best effort. They did so well in fact, that one of our teams won the competition and the other came....2nd!!!
All the children had a fantastic time, represented school fantastically, and all managed to come away with a medal! Well done to all that took part. On Tuesday we took some footballers from year 1 and 2 to the Etihad Training Complex - home of Manchester City - to compete in a competition alongside many other schools. Our team showed amazing determination and team spirit and managed to reach the semi finals! Well done to every child involved, there were smiles all around!
