Everyone loved all the jokes that were entered into the Comic Relief joke competition. Have a look at them yourself - which one is your favourite?
Thank you for all your efforts and contributions to World Book Day in March - we loved seeing all the children getting involved!
For our April Reading Community we would love you to get involved again by spending some time in the Easter Holidays creating your very own Reading River! A Reading River is a record of everything you read in a 24 hour period. We would love to collect as many as possible so that we can really understand all the different types of reading that occur in the Wilbraham community.
Watch this video for more information on what a Reading River is.
Here are some examples from the Literacy Team to help you too!
Thank you to everyone for entering the challenges this year - it was so difficult to choose winners as they were all great! Luckily, I've found 8 spare books so I could choose 4 winners for each challenge.
The winners are below - I hope you agree with my choices. What do you think to the other entries?
HAPPY WORLD BOOK DAY 2021!
We hope you have a wonderful day reading lots of stories.
The children are all busy completing activities around our chosen book Look Up! by Nathan Bryon.
There are also two challenges for the children to enter this year to be in with a chance of winning their own copy of the book. Please see the attached document for more information.
Also, just a reminder that the World Book Day £1 vouchers will be sent out next week once all the children are back in school.
