The last day for this group was the most exciting yet. A covering of snow when we got there was soon followed by further snowfall giving the woods a magical feeling. Khalid, Sophie, Gurtejal, Mohammed, Maheen, Neveao, Shad, Ali, Ayaan and Rami had a day to remember!

Today was cold so we had to keep moving. it was the last day for this group so we did two long walks to finish off our Forest School experience. It involved the usual climbing, scrambling and exploring. We ate lunch on the bus to keep warm then ventured out in the snow to climb a hill. It was very tiring but enjoyable. Finally, it was back to school and hot chocolate to sit and reflect on our trips. Today we managed 2 long walks as we didn't want to keep still and get cold. First we went to Bollington to climb up a hill to see White Nancy which is a monument on top of a hill with fanatastic views of Cheshire. After lunch, it was back to Alderley Edge as usual to do our long walk with climbing, scrambling and playing. A touch of snow made it particularly pretty to look at!! Great fun! |
