Hello, I have finally got around to doing a new blog! I hope you enjoy seeing what we have been up to in class 1G.
The children have been amazing, as always, for the last few weeks back in school. They amaze me with their ability to adapt to whatever is thrown at them. We have spent the last few weeks settling back into routines, but we have also enjoyed some great stories and activities. We loved reading the story of Chicken Licken and acting it out with masks. We also enjoyed making our Mothers day gift and card. I hope you liked yours. We then went on the read Jack and the beanstalk. Mrs Molla and Myself put on a 'no expense spared' performance of the story for the children. they loved it and I hope they shared some of their experiences with you at home. We've tried to get outdoors as much as possible when we have had brighter days. The children really benefit from being outside in the fresh air. They love to role-play, run and climb which are all great skills to develop. We had our snack outside one day and pretended it was a picnic. We've been working hard on our targets as well as focussing on the topic of spring and next week we will be doing lots of fun Easter activities. Here are just a few photos of what we have been up to.
