We have been busy learning about writing diaries over the past two weeks. Yesterday we wrote a diary and we imagined that we were Victorian chimney sweeps.
Today we edited our partner's work.
Our writing is so good we are going to put it on the wall!
It was a bit wet outside yesterday, when we normally do our Mile a Day run. We weren't going to be still, though! Here we are dancing to our favourite Go Noodle songs! We look pretty funny!
Have a go at home....just hit the button and work on those moves!
Julia brought some raw cotton for us to look at. She said it came from plants and it was what the Victorians worked on in the mills. They would spin the cotton with huge machines.
Today we had a very tricky puzzle. We had to work out the number on Lilly's card. Lilly gave us some clues. She said her number was between 40 and 50. She also said that if she divided her number by 3, she would have one left over, and if she divided by 4, she would also have 1 left over. We used our counters to help us solve this.
Do you know what Lilly's number is?
I think all of the running for our mile-a-day initiative has tired 3W out this week. We had a quiet, calm Golden Time. What a lovely end to the week.
