On Friday, we had a celebration day to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Take a look at all of the fun we had!
We have been looking at flowers during our Art and Science lessons. Take a look at some of the observational drawings and we have created, based upon the work by famous artist, Georgia O'Keefe.
Here are some pictures from our exciting trip to Tatton Park! We were recruited as extra servants from the 19th century and got down to work, following the strict instructions of the butler and the housekeeper. During the day, we had to bake scones, scrub the floors, polish the furniture, prepare the fire and make the beds. We had a great day taking part in lots of fun activities to help us to learn what life was like living in a grand house during the Victorian times.
Today we decided to take our learning outdoors and plant our plants into the soil. We also took our sketch books outside to sketch the beautiful flowers and took our reading books for chill out time in the lovely sunshine.
We love solving maths challenges with our peers in 3H. Here are some pictures to show us using our problem solving and team work skills.
Yesterday, we planted our own seeds linked to our new topic all about planting and growing! We planted some Climbing French Beans, Parsnips, Runner Beans and Peas. We put our pots onto the window sill to get sunlight and warmth and we have been watering them every day. We hope that they will begin to grow soon! We are so excited!
Well done to all of the Easter Egg entries - you have all worked so hard and they look fantastic!
Here we are using fraction tiles to find equivalent fractions in our maths lesson!
We used a watch to monitor how many steps we did each day and took part in a "stepping" challenge!
Well done to everyone who created and designed beautiful and informative science posters for the Science Week competition. They look brilliant!
Look at our colourful snowmen biscuits! We used halal marshmallows and icing sugar to decorate our biscuits and had our very own picnic in class.
We added oil and food colouring to water and then sprinkled glitter into our bottles. Once we added a dash of salt, we began to see bubbles appear!
Following on from the chocolate cake poem we have been reading in class, we decided to make our own! The ingredients which we used were eggs, butter, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, milk, icing sugar and baking powder. It was delicious!
