Our school story this year is called
' Du Iz Tak?'
The children loved reading the story about the insects that live in the garden. The children enjoyed working out what the bugs were saying because the whole book is in bug language.
We had to use picture clues, word clues and our inference skills to work out what the bugs were trying to say.
Afterwards, we drew our favourite scenes from the story using oil pastels to add colour. We also planted some seeds and we took these home. Hopefully, the seeds will begin to grow soon.
In the afternoon, we drank hot chocolate and read stories. What a super book day we had!
