Is it a bird ? Is it a plane? No...it's Supertato!
Supertato has been a marvelous hero saving the vegetables from the evil pea's horrid tricks!
Could you tell your family all about the amazing things Supertato has been doing today?
We made our very own Supertato characters and the children took them home! But watch out over the weekend because the Evil pea is on the run again...he could end up in your home! Will Supertato rescue anyone in your family this weekend? What amazing adventures will he get up too?
I can't wait to see your pictures and read your stories!
We have been trying really hard this week to get dressed for PE really quickly so that we can have lots of time in the hall. We used the floor space to make different shapes and then we got the equipment out safely. We then used the equipment to travel in different ways making sure we landed softly on our feet
( not stomping like elephants!) After this, we worked with partners to create different shapes together.
Don't forget your PE on Monday 2L!
Our new topic in Year 2 is called, ' I need a Hero!'
We kicked started our topic with a dressing up day. Lots of the children came to school as their Hero. Have a peek at the pictures and see what interesting characters and people we had at registration each morning.
Comment below and let us know who your Hero is?
It has been a challenging week in Maths. We have been counting out objects to represent a number, writing numbers in words and figures. Learning how to make numbers using different equipment.
We are beginning to understand how to partition numbers into Tens and Ones.
We worked in pairs and groups to race each other to make different numbers with the equipment.
Can you tell your family all the different ways in which we made 2 digit numbers?
