What a fantastic Sports Day we had on Friday afternoon. The atmosphere was brilliant and it was so lovely to see all the children cheering on their friends and classmates as well as all the parent that came to show their support too. Thankfully the trees at the back of the field provided some much needed shade for us all to sit and wave our banners and chant for our friends in their races. Take a look at all of the pictures that captured a great sporting event! Thank you to Mr Eccles, Mr Brown, Mr Jones and Mr Carpenter for organising a great event :)
We all had such an amazing day at Blue Planet last week! When we got there we had a chat with the people who worked there and they told us all about starfish, turtles and sharks! We even got to meet a real starfish and touch it. It felt very slimy and spiky.
Afterwards we stayed with our group and walked around the aquarium. There were so many different types of sea creatures we lost count. Some included starfish, sharks, stingrays, a range of different fish, crocodiles and even an octopus!
At 11 o clock we were treated to the dive show. We watched two divers enter to big aquarium pool and feed some of the sharks and stingrays. This was so cool!!
The best bit for most of us was when we went through the tunnel on the moving ground! We got to walk under really big sharks and other animals swimming.
It was a brilliant day and everyone behaved so well! Thank you so much to the parent helpers too for all their help that day!
