Changing Your Child's Meal Pattern
We ask all parents/carers to decide on a termly basis if your child will have school dinners or bring in a packed lunch from home. If you wish to change your child’s meal pattern, you must inform the school office to ensure that you are not inadvertently charged for meals that have not been taken and that we do not order meals that are not required. You can change your child’s meal pattern easily via our school website, just visit our Change in Meal Pattern page, complete the online form and submit it. This will be sent directly to our school office who will amend your child’s meal arrangements accordingly. You must give the school office one weeks notice for any change in meal pattern to take effect.
Careful records of any money owed to you are kept if your child has been absent. Dinner money records are checked on a Friday afternoon and if payment has not been received for any meals taken then a reminder letter will be sent out to you. Dinner money can also be paid by cheque with the cheque made payable to Wilbraham Primary School.
School dinners are cooked daily on site in our school kitchen. All our meals meet new Government standards and are nutritionally analysed. Please inform the school office of any dietary requirements that your child may have, i.e. halal, vegetarian, no dairy, etc. so that these may be catered for.
You can view our weekly school dinner menus by visiting our Menus page.
Packed lunches may also be brought into school however no glass containers or warm food are allowed on site. Please ensure that your child’s name is clearly displayed on the packed lunch and that your child brings their lunch into school with them each morning.
