This term we will be dividing into teams to try and make our presence known around school and help improve the environment. Watch out for notices about what is going on.
Here is a list of who is helping in which team. We will be having competitions and events to show what we are doing!!
Thanks to some of our older School Councillors, we had a great book sale before the holidays.
We managed to sell over 250 books! Hopefully, that meant a lot of holiday reading!
Watch out for the next sale, later in the year.
Members of the School Council gardening team have been busy tidying up the growing area following on from work they have already done with Mr. Eccles.
Today, Chine, Jack, Zuhayra and Poppy made a good job of the leaves and started preparing the planters.

These are the who are in the Eco Team.
The Eco Team is a group of people who help the school keep their environment clean and safe.
The school councillors go round the school to look for litter that is thrown on the floor.
Our first meeting went well and we found quite a lot of rubbish.
The Eco Team is here to raise awareness about littering through the school.
This is the Eco Team picking up litter from around the school.
We had a 15 minute challenge to see how much litter we could pick up.
In the last 2 photos you can see how much litter we had to pick up through out the school in 15 minutes.
STOP LITTERING!!! By, Subhan and Faria.

We just want to say thank you for doing the mile a day.
So far every class has done it at least 4 times a week , every week . At least we're very happy that you're exercising more and from all the school Councillors we want to say THANK YOU. If you aren't doing the whole mile doesn't matter at least you tried.
Remember if you keep going;
by Corey 4R School Councillor
This week we started our mile a day challenge.
For the next ten weeks we will be running and walking around the whole school. It is good for everybody.
The winners will decide what they want to do with the whole class.
If every class does it every day the classes get to get picked out of a hat.
The mile run is an enjoyable, amazing activity for all the people in our school.
Not just the children do the mile run the teachers do it as well.
