Today, Mr Marchant and Mr Eccles took their group out to the forest for the second time. The weather was much kinder this week and the children enjoyed a different perspective on the forest.
Lemur, Mohamed D, Siyal, Bianca, Ibrahim, Remas, Nuradin, Zariff, Mohamed A, and Sebastian decided that they wanted to find their own place to set up camp. They chose a fantastic sheltered spot. The group were able to remember the skills they had learnt on the previous visit to create some fantastic shelter that protected us from the breeze.
Once they had set up camp they went for a walk to the climbing area, where they were able to attempt a number of tricky climbs and even build a rope swing.
Once back at camp they build model villages and enjoyed a well earned hot chocolate around the fire, before returning to school.
