This week we have been exploring different habitats around the world in our science lessons as part of our living things topic. We have worked together in groups to create some fabulous information posters and then presented them to each other.
Not only have we learnt lots about different animals and plants in their habitats but we have also had the chance to teach each other.
Can you remember the 5 habitats we learnt about?
This week the children have made some wonderful pieces of work reflecting what they have learnt from the book we have been looking at in our English lessons ‘The Promise’. Everyone worked really hard on their piece so we now have a lovely display of them in our classroom.
We enjoyed our read aloud session on Thursday which allows the children to bring in something they have read somewhere at home or in school and share it with the class. The children always really impress me with how confidently they read but also how well they listen to each other.
Luckily Friday brought us lovely sunny weather so we have been out on the Astro practising our football skills in the sun.
*Please can everyone remember their PE kits next week on Thursday and Friday.*
Have a lovely weekend 4M and see you a Monday
Miss Mckibben :) x
We have certainly zoomed into year 4 this week! We have our shooting stars and rockets on display showing our aspirations for the year and giving us the motivation to try our hardest.
It’s been a busy but brilliant week and I am certainly looking forward to more fun next week.
Please all remember your PE kits next week, so we can all get involved and enjoy our sessions together.
Thursday - indoor
Friday - outdoor
Well done 4M for working so hard - children and families enjoy a well deserved weekend.
Miss Mckibben :)
