We all had so much fun during our last Forest School session of year 4. We made hot chocolate and talked about our favourite parts of the year and worked in teams to create shelters amongst the trees.
This afternoon we were divided into Team Romans and Team Celts as part of our investigation into the Roman invasion of Britain in AD43. We have researched why the Roman army was successful and the techniques that were used to conquer the Celtic settlements many years ago.
We had lots of fun demonstrating Roman army formations to test the strength and effectiveness of these strategies.
What a great sports day we had!
4J looked fantastic in their team colour, so vibrant, enthusiastic and supportive. I was very proud of everyone for their fantastic attitude towards the races / sports and for their excellent team spirit.
Well done 4J
Year 4 had a fantastic Eid party on Wednesday afternoon. There was dancing, eating, singing and even a photo booth!!!
This afternoon, to kick off our new literacy topic of plastic pollution in the ocean, the children entered the classroom to a surprise…
