As you all know, at the end of the year you will have a 25 question Times Table test, set by the government!
In order to get better, we are having weekly tests and hopefully you are practising at home.
Here is another great website to help you practice. It is exactly how the test will be at the end of the year- 25 questions with 6 seconds to answer each one. Have a go at it and see how you get on.
In the morning of World Book Day, Miss Hulston was with our class. Having read and talked about 'Tidy' by Emily Gravett, Miss Hulston set up a number of activities for the class to explore the themes around the book.
In the afternoon, the class finished off their leaf pledges and decorated a plant pot to plant cress seeds.
I hope the Cress starts to grow over the weekend! I'd love to see some photos of the growth.
In dance this term, we have been learning dance.
Using specific moves to represent certain aspects of Roman life, 4D have created short routines set to Roman style music to show off what they have learnt about.
In History, we are learning all about the Romans and how they have influenced modern day society.
This week, we have been looking at their traditional artistry of the Mosaic.
We learnt all about who, and why they, had mosaics in their homes and what stories they would tell.
Now, we are creating our own. I can't wait to see the finished products!
