What a brilliant transition morning we had with our new 3H class!
We made biscuits, played lots of games, designed our own page about ourselves and learnt new facts about our peers.
We are so excited to meet each other again in September!
Have a lovely summer holiday!
Love from Miss Hafesji 😊.
Today we went to the beach and had a brilliant day in the lovely sunshine!
We built marvellous sand castles, ate delicious ice cream and had lots of fun with all of our year 3 and 4 friends!
Challenge to 3H: can you tell an adult / friend about your day at the beach? What exciting adjectives and verbs could you use?
Today we had a picnic on the field and played some games in the sun. What a brilliant afternoon we had!
We made cucumber sandwiches and took ice lollies outside, whilst listening to a class story. We then played lots of fun games with our friends!
Wow! What a triumphant day 3H had last week! Members of our class won bronze, silver and gold medals and EVERYONE worked super hard as a team!
GO GREEN TEAM! ⚽️⚾️🏉🏒🎱🎾🏀🏈🏐🏑🎖🏅🏆
Challenge: can you use any adverbs of time or manner to tell a recount of the day's events to a friend?
Thank you to all of the parents and carers for contributing to our Eid party! We were overwhelmed with all of the food and drinks that you had sent and had such a great time.
Look at how well our plants have grown!
We planted lettuce, radish, cress, pepper and tomato seeds and learnt all about the conditions required in order for our plats to grow. 🌻
Whilst it was hot and sunny, we decided to take our learning outdoors and take advantage of the wonderful weather!
We had a great time relaxing in the warm weather and drawing observational drawings based upon famous artist, Georgia O'Keefe 💐🌻🌺🌸.
We had a great time today during our class trip to Quarry Bank Mill as part of our Victorians topic !
During our visit we were able to go inside the Apprentice House and see where the children had to sleep, what they had to eat and what life was like for them every day. We learnt about the pauper children who worked in the Mill and their working and home lives.
We were also able to explore local history, the Industrial Revolution and discover what it was like to be a factory worker or child apprentice.
Challenge to members of 3H - what was your favourite part of the trip and why?
We love to read all kinds of different books in 3H and know that it can be a great way to escape to a new world or help us to relax and unwind.📚
Reading is also very important and can help us to spell more accurately and write confidently. 📚
Message to my lovely class: Make sure that you are reading every day and bringing your reading books in so that we can change them regularly please! 📚📚📚 Thank you 😊
We had a brilliant time in our class last week creating our own volcanoes and causing them to explode!
