We have had lots of fun getting to know our new class but It has also been a busy September for 3A. Here are some of the new and great things we've been learning this month.
We have been looking at complements of 100 and then applying our new found knowledge practically using money, base ten and counters. 3A have been great at finding different types on angles around our classroom.
3A have been working on expanding their vocabulary and now finding alternative adjectives to help them in their writing.
We have had a fantastic time working with our Manchester City coach. We have been working on our passing and team-building skills.
In Geography we have been looking at Natural Disasters.
We have been creatively exploring the different layers of the Earth and looking at how Tectonic Plates work.
We have had a lot of fun learning new words and phrases with Mr Tawil. 3A are always eager to learn and practice with each other. All the children are growing in confidence with some children being able to answer to the register in arabic. Amazing!!
In Art we have been looking at the artist Gustav Klimt, a symbolist painter. We were so inspired by all his paintings that we decided to create our own Gustav inspired display!
