In Science we have been learning about different things that grow such as fruits, vegetables and flowers. We've even been growing our own beanstalks in class.
In Art we had to look really carefully at different fruits and sketch them in our art books. We had to think about the size of our drawing and not use rubbers which was really hard for some children. Can you remember why Ms Tang always sings One Direction when she's colouring in? You can see how hard we're concentrating!
We also made our own delicious fruit salads. We got to try some new fruits such as pomegranate (one of Ms Tang's favourites) and had to use a knife to cut it all up. Later in the week we will be using this to help us write some funky fruit poems.
Can you think of any expanded noun phrases to describe the lovely fruit you ate today? For example, the pomegranate was full of tiny, juicy seeds like rubies. Its skin was blood red and smooth.
