As part of our Manchester topic we went n a trip into the city. It was a cold day so we had to rap up warm.
We walked to Wilmslow Road and jumped on the bus into town.
We visited many interesting places including Central Library, Manchester Art Galley, Beetham Tower , MOSI and John Ryland's Library.
We were very lucky and we were allowed to go up to Cloud 23 in Beetham Tower. We could see all over Manchester and Sarah said she felt like bird because everything looked so small when she looked down.
We spotted trains, the canals and Central Library.
Afterwards we were very hungry so we went into the MOSI to eat our lunch. Lewis really wanted Ms Lindsay's coffee! :)
We we went back outside it was raining but that wasn't going to stop us. We found the old Victorian School which is now a fancy hotel. Can you tell your family why the roof was flat?
Finally we went to John Rylands Library. It was such an amazing building and it felt like we were in Harry Potter. Inside there were hundreds of old books and some of them were the size of Ranem!
We really enjoyed out trip into Manchester and we love living in Manchester because there is so much to see.
What was your favourite part? What building will you take your family to see?
We wore our own clothes today to help support the Children In Need Charity.
We bought buns , cakes and head bands.
In class we learnt about what Children In Need is and we found out how the money helps children all over England.
A big thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket, cake or accessory.
I know we will raise lots of money for this worthy cause.
