This morning, we worked in our teams to jot down all of our ideas about how Jack turned into a stone statue!
We worked well in our team and shared our imaginative ideas with our friends.
Take a look at our hard work.
Challenge: Can you tell someone at home what you think happened to Jack?
Our new ICT topic is called 'We Are Researchers' and we will be researching a significant individual called Mary Seacole! We will be creating a PowerPoint presentation all about her life. Have a look at how much fun we are having in the computer suite!
Challenge: Can you find out 2 facts about Mary Seacole?
During our R.E lesson, we discussed special places and which places are special to us.
Last week, we took a trip to visit the local church and local mosque in Fallowfield.
We noticed lots of similarities and differences between the two places of worship and enjoyed our walk through Platt Fields Park.
We have been reading 'The Tunnel' in our class and last week, all of the year two classes got together to make our very own deep, dark tunnel!
We each played musical instruments to reflect the sounds which we would hear in the forest and we took it in turns to crawl through our very own magical tunnel.
We had lots of fun!
Every Friday morning, we invite parents and carers to join us for some reading activities and challenges in class. These are usually linked to our topics and then we end our session with our Mile a Day walk.
Take a look at some of the fun we had last week!
Welcome to our class ... 2H!
During our first week back at school, we played lots of fun games to get to know each other and to help us to settle in.
We also designed and decorated some really cool super hero masks to link in with our topic which is all about "Heroes".
